When you say no signs of nausea, is he sniffing food and turning away? That's nausea. I'd work on getting that ondansetron for him.

NDW should be over now, time for Mr. Eddie to come on down!

Yes, he is sniffing and turning away but not to all food. If I offer him a Churu lickable, that's fine. Or if he gets a little smoothie type pate mixed with Churu lickable and Open Farm bone broth, he'll lick at that but will leave it. I have an appointment on Friday at the vet we both appreciate. I just hope we don't end up iat the emerg clinic beforehand. I'm trying to keep it together. I just gave him a Cerenia and have the ondansetron on order. Will also be giving him some sub-q today (100ml).

I just got the call for West Coast Dental for Eddie. The good news is I have an actual appointment. The not-so-good news is that it's not until July 23 (!!!!); that's when they have all of the specialists in at one time. They are now not booking anything for June for that reason.

If only I can keep Eddie safe until then. We have the appointment for Friday with the vet I most appreciate and I will ask her about ABX. @Wendy&Neko what would you say to Convenia? That way he would be covered for a few weeks without my forcing more tablets and pills on him.

I'm not a fan of Convenia. It's an AB for skin conditions - for mouth it's usually Clindamycin, which is available as Antirobe drops - though bitter tasting. The downside to Convenia is also that once it's in, it's there for weeks. Which is OK if he's had it before and you know he's not allergic to it. Not so good if he is allergic.

That means possibly some nausea, turning away and picky. Or does it mean he just likes softer mousse like food? I got Neko her own immersion blender and purreed her foods with some water when her mouth got to the point it was hard for her to eat.

I have a special blender for Eddie and make him smoothies out of mousse-like food, yes. I hear you about Convenia. It was given to Blue on one occasion and he was fine but, of course, that's neither here nor there with Eddie.

Had to syringe feed at PM again. Hoping to get Mirtaz in liquid form. I should also mention that Eddie's kittybox action is less than stellar. Peeing only for the past day or so.
