Good morning!
AMPS 160 shooting 1.75u

Last night Boomer ate all of his +3 and extra food. I gave him less food at +6 and +9 (trying to make up for the extra food at +3) He left some of both so it appears I can cut them down a bit more. I didn't think he'd be very happy getting most of his carbs/calories at the beginning of the cycle but he seems to be ok with it lol.

Allen ate well overnight.

Yesterday I got out for two photo walks! The first one wasn't very successful; even though it was early the birds didn't seem to be out in any great numbers and no new ones were seen. But yesterday afternoon I went to an area close by where there is a pond and I saw lots of Downy Woodpeckers, a Ruby-Crowned Kinglet (a first for me), two Flickers, a Yellow Finch, two Tree Swallows and a lone Cliff Swallow (all the swallows were very cooperative with posing). Oh, and 3 Buffleheads in the pond!

Today on the agenda: 2 grandchildren coming for a visit since today is a PD day.

Today's photo is of a bird I'm sure most of us know and see: An American Robin!

Glad Boomer is okay with you cutting down on the +6 and +9 food. I hope he heads to the lagoon and surfs. I'm glad you got out for some walks. Great picture. We have lots of robins around.

Just peeking in to see how Boomer is doing. Sorry he's back on the juice, but it sounds like he's managing ok.

We have Northern flickers here, both with the red and yellow trims - I always think they look like they're wearing a tux!

Hi Julie! Thanks for checking in! Yes Boomer has been in remission 3 times; I don't believe it will happen again. But he's doing well! The Flickers are one of my favourite bird. I don't see too many of them but it was actually one of the first birds I ever photographed and it was right in my backyard!
