It's been one week since Ivana was declared OTJ, and it's been one week since I touched her meter. I am so proud of myself for holding out this long!
Just tested Ivana 3 hrs after her breakfast, and she was a lovely 52/2.9. I was sooo nervous doing this test, as a lot can happen in a week and I was terrified that she'd somehow come out of remission in that time. Thankfully I was worried for nothing. Mind you, Missy was not impressed with being tested, and was being a right pain in the elbow swinging her head around and flicking her ear. I guess we should expect that, given that it's not a 10 times a day thing anymore and she's no longer used to it. That, and it's coming into winter here and my hands are probably cold - will have to start washing them in hot water before testing her I think.
All in all, Ivana has had a great week of not being poked, and we have had a great week of not constantly thinking about FD. We even went out for cocktails and dinner last night, and didn't look at the time once
