Beautiful day here. Currently 53* - probably the last cool front we will have. Hoping to go and walk around the botanical gardens today. They are only about 3 miles away. Take the camera (and, I guess hubby if he wants to go) and just enjoy this beautiful weather.

Did some research on the Greenie Pill Pocket Duck & Pea

Ingredients
Rehydrated duck, glycerin, ground peas, natural flavors, pea protein, vegetable oil, sodium bisulfate, water, dried cultured skim milk, xanthan gum, smoke flavor, preserved with mixed tocopherols

ETA - all flavors, cat and dog, have glycerin listed as 2nd ingredient.

They are the ones I use for civvie, Forrest. I would have thought that "grain free" meant lower carbs...........not necessarily I guess. Jayla uses a little Vaseline on the end of a pill to pill her cats. And Vaseline is the main ingredient in the tubes for getting kitty to poop ( can't think of the name of the product) My civvie cat loves when I put a pea size dab of Vaseline on my finger tips and he licks it right off.

I only gave him about the size of a pea. I split in two - put pill in 1/2 and none in the other. Fed him the 1/2 without the pill first and the 1/2 with the pill 2nd. Going to see if neighbor wants them for her dogs, otherwise I will throw them. So disappointed.

What about velveta?
