Good morning!
AMPS 126 shooting 2.25u

Boomer ate ok last night; he actually ate his +3 without my having to change it out or place it on the dining room table. He's been in solid greens and blues for a week now (big anti-jinx) which I haven't seen for a long time, and his need for food goes down along with his BG.

Looking to buy Boomer a heated bed or heated mat...do any of my Canadian friends have any recommendations?

I will also order the Cartrophen today for his arthritis.

This Bean has already been out this morning but had to head home very early as it started to rain. Now of course it is sunny out :rolleyes::rolleyes: although more rain and some storms are predicted for today.

Today's photo was taken on Sunday and is of a Northern Flicker!

Hi Judy, Beautiful picture! I haven't seen any heated pads in the stores but Amazon has them and you could use a human heating pad if you have one, under a blanket. I'm going to Pet Value today so I'll ask them for you.

It is based on weight. I seem to remember it was in the mid 20’s, almost filled the 30 cc insulin syringe.

I got a heated bed at Petsmart, but Neko preferred the memory foam bed I got on Amazon, medium dog size, one solid piece of foam.

Beautiful Flicker, Judy! I always get so excited seeing those shy birds at our feeders in Michigan! Best to Boomer on getting that warm bed all patted out when it arrives :)

I checked at PetSmart today but they told me they are "out of season". Figures I would be looking for a heated pad in spring
I've been told .38ml twice a week for four weeks then .38ml once a week for four weeks then .38ml once a month.
Isn't 1ml equal to 1cc? o_Oo_Oo_O

That explains it, Neko was in the 14 lb range, as was the civvie when they started Cartrophen . The larger dose makes sense. Good luck, I hope it helps.
