Day 14 of the OTJ trial! Looks like we've done it! Thomas' BG is within normal range.
His last scab fell off yesterday, he just has 3 stitches left now. I really need to take some pictures, most of his fur has grown in, other than where his scabs were anyway, not sure if he'll grow any there or not.
He's doing good though, just his normal grumpy and stubborn self. Still eating well, honestly has a huge appetite lately so I've been giving him an extra couple tablespoons of food at meals if he acts like he's still hungry. Which he does by standing by his food bowl and staring me down angrily until I notice.
His weight dropped after surgery but is staying consistent right now where he hasn't been exercising. Hopefully after his cone is off he'll start playing again.
Hidee is doing good too, still has a sensitive stomach though and throws up a lot. I wonder if it's just hairballs or if it's a digestive issue.
She's been doing it her whole life but doesn't show any other negative signs. I'm hoping to get her annual exam when it's more safe to be leaving the house again.
Everything else is going pretty well thankfully.
Hope everyone is having a great Thursday!:bighug:

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Thomas J.!!!!!!! You did it!!!

I knew he was timing his last scabs for this, he wants to look good for his party! (well, other than the stitches, but he thinks they make him look rugged).

Congratulations!

Congratulations on all your hard work! Great news the last scab fell off. I hope you stop by from time to time and give us an update on how you and Thomas are doing.

Congrats to both of you. Looks like the ears might have been the reason for the diabetes. Regardless, well done and enjoy the fuds and all those bumbles I saw thrown on the floor.
