I think this number probably has something to do with the primal (from the gut) screams I was doing at the chocolate lab that tried to attack J.D. about a half hour ago. A lot of neighbors came out of their houses
because of my screams.
Ginger was around one corner of the condo buildings up on someone's balcony and I was trying to convince her to come down and to follow me, and I had told J.D. where I was and asked him to follow me too. Some stranger lady came by saying "hi kitty" to J.D. so I knew he was getting closer to Ginger (who was ignoring me) and I. All of a sudden a dog dragging a rope leash comes running up the steps down the path where I knew J.D. was, with humans chasing behind. I ran after the dog, and dived down to the cement walkway (landing (on my knees) right between the circling animals) in time to grab and cradle and hold a growling, hissing, hair raised J.D. in my arms while screaming at the top of my lungs and from my gut at the dog to get away. My throat hurts.
The stupid man human was smiling at the kid human as they led the dog away. Freaks!
