Normally, I feed him in the middle of the night when I give him his Pepcid, but +9.5 was just too late, so he got Pepcid and lots of freeze dried treats. Well, not that many to raise his BGs, he did that on his own.

1st Breffis was eaten at AMPS, then btb until J.D. kept trying to wake me up by constantly brushing his whiskers across my face, and now 2nd Breffis has been eaten at +4.25.

I called the vet yesterday, and said I needed to get some more buprenex (actually I have enough for a couple weeks), before they make me come in for another exam in order to get it. first, then I'm off to the vet to get bupe, pill pockets, and FortiFlora.

That's a bit of a drop in the past 2 hours. They just ate their 3rd Breffis and J.D. got some Miralax with his.
J.D. is currently taking a bath in his little kitty bed.

I put J.D.'s kitty bed outside on the porch and he is liking it. I wish he were more active, but I think he'll get there.
He just got his 2nd weekly B12 shot today. He's eating fine. And, it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Wow, is it usual for JD to go so low at such a late point in his cycle? What a drop! :lol: I'm glad he's eating well and seems to be feeling well.

Usually, from what I can tell, his nadir (when you can see one) is around +8.5. He's on Levimir, so onset is around +4 and nadir around 4 or so hours later.

And up we go. It's hard to feed them sometimes when you know they just rose 100 points in an hour, or when they're way up there. I just gave him his bupe and his Ondansetron and fed him his 1st Dinner.
