Bit of an oops yesterday. I went out for a quick lunch but ran into some friends and lunch carried on into all afternoon at the pub. Discovered a lovely new cocktail that tastes like apple crumble but got home rather the worse for wear. I did take his PMBG (113 and no idea when he'd eaten prior to that) but then sat on the bed to get changed and it was lights out halfway through

I was revelling in not having to be home for a shot and being able to drink again but this morning with my purse so much lighter and needing to make up time at work I do wonder if it was worth it and if I thought Meg was mad at me yesterday well that had nothing on today. Since it was dark when I finally staggered home she missed out on her time outside - I am in big trouble!!!

Mmmm mmm on that apple crumble cocktail though :mrgreen:

Vyktor is looking good with that 61 though, as for Meg, you do have your work cut out for you!

Hmmm... apple crumble cocktails? Sounds yummy but they must be potent since I believe you are stuck in a time warp.
For you isn't it April 19 already?
I've been counting the days until OTJ and according to my hi-tech calculator (my fingers), right now it is around lunch time on April 19 and trial day 11.
Party day is Sunday, April 22. Yes? No? Yes? ohmygod_smile :lol: :lol: :lol:

Meg's story gives me hope that Ol' Cur-Smudgeon may one day be okay with the fact that we are a multi-cat household :roll:
She's been in "High Cur-Smudgeon Dudgeon" because the last two nights I've only let her cuddle on one side with me if Binks
gets to cuddle on the other side. She absolutely HATES him getting attention-
but she's so incredibly stubborn that she won't relinquish her spot on the bed...so i've got one very pist Tortie on my hands! :lol: :lol:

First I lost track of the number of days and now the date I am just determined to go backwards! Or maybe I'm just getting even more Americaniszed - I've got used to the backwards dates, extreme BG numbers and I even believed Sienne when she told me spelt was just a grain the other day. I had to google it to remind myself that spelt is the correct spelling of spelled in Australia (and Britain) :lol: :lol: :lol:

CD is quite correct in her calculations, clearly I have had enough of those apple crumble cocktails for a while - I can't afford to lose any more brain cells - well not until they've had a chance to replenish themselves anyway ;-)

I have no idea what was in them the only ingredient I can be sure of is cinnamon, guess I will have to go back and have another - purely in the name of research of course :mrgreen:

and I'm assuming at 'the party' these special Apple Crumble drinks will be served???? Definitely need the recipe for that! i tend to think of myself as a 'martini' inventor! couple of years ago Harvey kicked me in the leg and tore up my knee, with compression fracture of the femur. So.. i was stuck at home on the couch recuperating. I had lots of Ice Pax......... which was a martini I named in honor of the fact that it was the same colour as the blue gel ice packs I was using! (Vodka, Blue Curacao and Cranberry juice.. yum!). Anytime anyone called to see how i was doing I told them 'no worries, I'm using lots of Ice packs'!).

Cinnamon! Yes, I know that well. My house smells like it, the deck smells like it, and I guess Daphne and I do also. But not from cocktails :sad: We have lots of ants around here, and I found out ants hate cinnamon. I'll be sure to save some for when we get that recipe!
