I tried to get a video to attach of the baby mole. I'll have to try again tonight. Must get ready for work, now, because I have to leave early to deliver him to the Wildlife Refuge.

J.D. is fine. Resting in his bed. He did get some shrimp, yesterday.

Morning J.D. and Dyana...

J.D. you have a very special momma bean there. She has a very, very admirable heart. :YMHUG:

No surpise on the PMPS

Here are the videos I took last night. I figured since I had to feed the baby all night, I could test J.D. all night too.
So, let's just say I didn't get much sleep. I slept in as much as I could this weekend, so was running off of those reserves today.

Bear in mind, that these are like the first successful videos I've ever taken, okay. The first two, are the ones I'd like to share and remember.

When I dropped the baby off this morning, I said "Do you guys take in moles?" and she said "all the time" ..okay.
She put him in an aquarium ..a big aquarium.. all by hisself with a blankie, and he was running around all over checking out his new digs. The lady said "he is very active". I was wondering if that was a bad thing.

They called me, per my request, this afternoon to say that he was doing fine, and still "very active", and advised that I call them back on Monday, to see if he was ready to be picked up...I get to release him back where he was born :-D

She said they are underground animals and she thinks maybe the rain made them come to the surface, and then the lawn mowing happened.. and they got separated from their ma. I hope the one baby that ran under the bushes is happy and warm with his mom, right now.

Last year, when I dropped off a baby squirrel, they had 6 bear cubs that I had to pass on the way to the building. This year, it was a bobcat (a lynx). Very interesting animals, I've always thought. He was staring at me and making indescribable noises to me. Probably smelled the warmed mole in my hands..

J.D. and Ginger are outside on the porch checking out the wet outdoors. Time to round them up, and think about getting to bed early, tonight.

Wow, Dyana...this is one of the best stories ever. What a sweet, lucky little mole to have landed in your yard. Thank you so much for saving him!

I'm so glad they took the mole Dyana. Isn't it too little to be put back outside? That was really awesome of you to help it. J.D. come on down sweet pea. Dyana, I hope you get some much needed rest. Have a great night!

Moles make think of Austin Powers.
