Good Morning!!

A nice start for J.D.'s day. He just ate his breakfast. He was 265 at PM +11 and I did not get up in the middle of the night to test (bad). All of a sudden I've come to the realization that if I get a 2nd job and work 7 days a week, I will not be able to get mid cycle tests on my days off, but only in the middle of the night gurrrrr.
J.D. sleeps almost on my head real close with a very loud purr and so warm he is, between that PM +11 and AMPS (nice!).

Going back to bed for an hour or so.

No sudden drops. This is nice.
I guess my sleep shed is full; when I went back to bed, I ended up trying to read the best I could with a 16.5 pound cat all stretched out and asleep across my throat for about an hour, and he wouldn't get up no matter how much I wiggled and twisted and turned and told him it was time to get up for the day :lol:
He's had his 2nd breakfast, and my cats now want to go outside, but it's still too cold out there.

Looks like JD is set up to have a nice, smooth day.

We've got a cold spell here, too, though today the sun is out (so far).

Hi Dyana!
I read about your prediciment yesterday. Its almost worth taking a complete cut and filing for unemployment! Geeeesh!!! How can they cut people's pay?!?! You work so hard. I hate to see you needing to take on another job and lose what little time you have to yourself already.

It looks like JD is having a beautiful start to the morning. Hopefully the sun will be warm and you will be able to get out for a bit with the furkids.

Gosh, Dyana, I'm so sorry about your job situation. I work at a state university that is expecting to lay off 100 people this summer and am nervous myself. This economy has just got to change! I've thought that if I ever needed a part time I'd look for something like that at a vet office... figuring it couldn't help but teach me a lot and have some good side benefits to it. Do you know how many hours you'd be there? You also need to see your kitties, eat and sleep.

J.D. looks great this am... maybe he's trying to cheer you up. Good luck with it all. Hopefully you can get creative and figure something out.

J.D.....going in the right direction! I am so sorry to hear that you have been so grossly overpaid and are now getting a cut in salary...guess living high on the hog has got to stop now, eh? Have to see all your extra cars and quit going on all those expensive vacations now, eh? (that has GOT to be a terrible blow...gee thanks for finding out what others are being paid and using it against me...) Gee Dyana...well, that other job sounds interesting but I do worry about the lack of "spare time" in your week...

Careful what you wish for. Flat yellow cycles can mean being busy in the next cycle or two. Knowing J.D., he'll drop his numbers when you have to go to tbp.

Sorry about the work situation. So how is it that your work merited all of those raises and now it doesn't? Sometimes, employers don't make sense. The vet clinic sounds like a great option. Just think, you may be able to educated them about FD.

My boss (new owner for the last 2 years) began the talk me about how the old owner Jack who died suddenly 2 years ago, was way to generous in his raises. And then about how the bad economy has dropped our profits, etc, etc, etc. He doesn't seem to see the glass half full, and that things will get better.

I am reading Desi Downey's (from DD and Tinkerbell) book Ni Howdy! and that's cheering me up. It's so funny! And, makes my situation not feel so bad.

J.D. is certainly surfing yellow today. Maybe it was the parties this weekend! Bummer about your job situation. I hope you'll be able to find the right balance. Perhaps you should ask your boss if it isn't preferable to have employees who have the energy to do their full-time jobs well. Pay cuts that force people to take second jobs are not the way to sustain or build a business! His business is sure to suffer if you and your co-workers have to get 2nd jobs to make ends meet.

had to go back to see what the job situation was all about. i'm sorry you have to take a pay cut. seems like it's happening all over these days. :cry:
jd is looking mighty flat today. wonder what he has in store for tonight...

1st dinner served and lovingly eaten. Their favorite FF Fish and Shrimp Feast. Getting their face baths in now, and then going outside to catch the last of the sun rays.

I only tested because he jumped up on my desk and got in front of my computer screen so I couldn't see what I was doing.
