J.D. ate okay last night.
This morning, he ate part of his 1st Breffis on the couch and then just now ate a couple more bites while laying in his doggy bed. Last night he had me concerned as he tried to get up from the doggy bed from a laying down position, and it was hard as always for him to twist his body to get to his feet, and there are places like when he's laying in a corner where he gets stuck. Anyway, once he got up, his back end seemed weak. He walked around a lot after that and was better.

I might start the Baytril tonight, instead of tomorrow. We'll see.

Off to get dressed and get the cats out for a walk.

I hope J.D. was just laying in a funny position and had to walk the kinks out. I hope he continues to eat for you today. Enjoy your walk.

Re: 04/16 J.D. AMPS 307

It was freezing outside, and J.D. didn't have his jacket on. Nothing like a walk in the cold to get the cats eating.
J.D. ate good when we got home.

Off to get ready for tbp.

I hope everyone has a good day.

That's what I was thinking Dyana. When you are older, sometimes it hard to go from seated to standing due to arthritis or older legs, but once you get going your fine.

Hi guys .. sorry to hear J.D. was struggling getting up last night .. poor baby, maybe the cold weather? I hope J.D. slides down for you today .. have a great day guys!

I got home from work and the big soft Orthopedic pad that is in the doggy bed was out of the doggy bed and turned upside down and the food bowl was over turned. I hope it was just from Ginger leaping down from her cat tree beside the doggy bed and making a mess, or J.D. getting a claw caught in it :? It was kind of bizzare.

Anyway, we went out for a walk, and 1st Dinner has been eaten, and face baths have been had.

Yes. He just has problems getting up sometimes, like as if he was a horse cast in a stall. The twisting in the direction he needs to go in to get up, isn't so easy to do. He walks slow but sure.

Right now he's on the couch waiting for me to turn on Animal Planet ;-)
