Do you think he might be in lime this early morning? I normally don't test him after 3 AM.
My husband gets up at 5, he always feeds him and lets him go out to the yard for 10 mins run. If he sees Casper acting strange, he will surely let me know, but that's pretty much their routine every morning. Casper then comes back to bed and snuggles up for a nap before his morning testing and breakfast before shot.
 
I think he was likely in the 100’s bit it’s possible he went lower. You should not need to test after 3:00 a.m. What time are your shooting these days?
