04/13 Amethyst PMPS 198 Prayers please for Amethyst

Amethyst had her follow up with our Animal Eye Specialists Amethyst has had a Corneal Sequestrum growing on each eye for a bout a year now. Treatment is $3000 for each eye. Our group prayers here are very powerful PLEASE pray that my little girl does not lose her sight. Praying for your little girl. Unbelievable what it cost us all to keep our kitties healthy. Know one thing. Animals are so resilient with their disabilities. If she loses her vision, and still has your love and care, she will be okay. I wish there were something I could say to you but there are no words.
 
Oh no, Pamela, I am saddened to hear this. Poor dear Amethyst has to deal with a lot already. I WILL pray for Amethyst to not lose her eyesight. I have had cats who lost their eyesight, but only for a few weeks. Those kitties amazed me at how they navigated around the house. They are so amazing. I have no idea how they manage it. She already gets eye medications for the Corneal Sequestrum, right? What is her vision like at this time? What did the doctor say? Can you tell that her vision is impaired?

Hi I had to wait for the Stimulus money before I could take her back Each visit is $500:arghh: She is presently on 7 eye medications (glaucoma, severe dry eye and corneal sequestrums) about $300 a month, but it is what needs to be done to save her sight Her vision is good thank GOD but at times her eyes are uncomfortable because of the Sequestrums. My poor little baby girl does not need this on top of everything else:( I just keep asking for prayers and asking GOD to please keep them from exploding in her eyes THanks for your love and support:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
I had a cat when I grew up who lost both his eyes. Well, one he had tiny bit of vision around the very outside. He did very well - as long as we didn't move the furniture. We've had other blind cats here too. I hope if doesn't come to that with Amethyst, but if it does they are incredibly adaptable.
