04/12 Grace and Whiskey

Grace :
Ok ... we are trying Grace without insulin. Fingers crossed!!

Yesterday's vet visit - blood work back from last week, plus some done yesterday. High points:
fPLI negative,
positive for HyperT. Started on 1/4 tab Tapazole BID.
D/c fluids.
1 more antibiotic, but continue probiotic for a while.
Wean off antinauseant.
Leukopenia gone -white count NORMAL!!

Feels and looks great. Personally, I still think she had pancreatitis, especially since the fPLI tests are not always accurate...

Whiskey :

Much better since I showed Tammy what happened when she skipped the dose. She will try more spot checks and maybe a curve this weekend.

By the way, if anyone is keeping track, my Astrophe is doing great! No insulin, and her anemia is under control. Latest PCV is 47%
