J.D. ate a LOT of food yesterday and last night.

At +11.25, I tested him and gave him some treats. At +11.5, I gave him some Pepcid. A few minutes later, he threw up the cat treats, but I did not see the Pepcid or the Pill Pocket it was wrapped in. J.D. ate (drank the water and Miralax) from the plate of FF I put down for his 1st Breffis, and then threw that up. I wrapped 1/4 Ondansetron in a Pill Pocket and was going to wait a bit to give it to him, and had it next to my glucometer on the couch, and Ginger ate it :-| J.D. just ate a bunch of cat grass. I have another 1/4 Ondansetron wrapped in a Pill Pocket which I am guarding right now, and I am waiting to see if he throws up again before trying again to give him the Ondansetron. I bet a walk might help him to throw up. So, off we go.

Sorry Ginger got the pill pocket. I hope J.D. will keep it down once you give it to him and his tummy feels better today.

We had a really long walk. J.D. ate some of the fresh grass that was growing out there, and then we just walked and walked, and he was free roaming and off the leash most of the time, but I watch him closely so he doesn't wander too far and get lost.
He did not throw up and is eating his food now. I guess he doesn't need the Ondansetron. I think he just probably needs the Pepcid earlier or something.

Off to get ready for tbp.

Oh goodness, nothing more worrisome than puking up after meds. Paws crossed JD's tummy settles. The morning walk sounds lovely.

A lovely, long walk to start the day should make anyone feel better! Sending good tummy vines to JD. Guess Ginger doesn't need any of those, since she got the meds. :lol:

Yeah, I forget that the Pill Pockets taste good, cuz J.D. won't just eat them, but Ginger will :lol:

All left out food was eaten. I have a nice low yellow. It's decent outside, and time for a walk. And, it's Friday!
 
What a nice PMPS for J.D.! I hope all the tummy issues are resolved now.

Jersey kept me awfully busy this week, so I apologize if I missed this in one of your condos - what was the winning name for the colt? They were supposed to announce it this past Monday, right?
