Yesterday's ever-so-slight hiccup

After yesterdays "low" and "high", we're back on track today with a very nice AMBG.

Ivana temporarily turned into a kitten again this morning, it seems to be happening more frequently now that she's stabilised in normal numbers, which is awesome. After we fed her breakfast we did the BTB thing, and Ivana decided it was time to sprint from one end of the house to the other, claws-in-the-carpet style. Then do that little yowl at the end of the sprint, turn around, and do it again. So glad she's feeling perky enough to do that, not bad for someone who turns 18 next month

PMBG is 119 / 6.6. @Vyktors Mum, have you been thinking of the wrong colour again?! Will retest in 3 hrs.

Turns out she didn't eat lunch today, because I forgot to leave it in her autofeeder So she didn't eat anything between breakfast and PMBG. Don't know if that would have affected her BGL, but I will make sure not to make that mistake again. Silly mummy-bean.

Given that it's two night's in a row that she's had a blue number, do I need to start worrying? Or just keep on keeping on?

Missing lunch is likely to be the culprit, when the pancreas is working it's eating that makes it release insulin. So this time it's your fault

I don't think you have anything to be worried about, I'm sure she'll be back in the lagoon when you retest. She is doing really well, better than Vyktor's OTJ trial (check out his old spreadsheet at the bottom of my signature) and he stayed in remission for well over 3 years. He would probably still be there if he hadn't developed other health issues.

Missing lunch definitely could increase her PMBG...food definitely helps bring Trix down. At least Ivana managed to keep it normal by hair. And yay for the kitten-ness!!!! Happy Day 9!!
