J.D. seems to be clearing his bounce. Neither of my cats finished their 1st Breffis of FF Turkey & Giblets. I don't know why they don't like that flavor anymore. I left out what they didn't finish all morning, while J.D. and I went btb and nada, they never finished it. 2nd Breffis was eaten late at +6.5 and I he ate the 1/4 or so of the 1,000 mcg capsule of Methylcobalamin I gave him on top, just fine.

This website suggests 3000 mcg daily (for a cat weighing over 10 pounds) for neuropathy. I don't have experience giving oral methylcobalamin for GI or pancreatic issues. I am assuming the dosing would be similar, though I think it would be better to start slowly to make sure he tolerates it. I used injectable cyanocobalamin for Bear and Teddy.

So, I guess I am starting real slow, then. Thanks for the link, Linda.
The lady at the health food store said to give him 1/9? of a capsule a day (as she was dividing 14lbs of cat by an average human of 125lbs). I guess I'll give him a little in the morning and a little at night, maybe I'll start 1/2 capsule twice a day, for now. That would be pretty expensive though, as the 60 capsules were $17. I'll need to find a cheaper source.

Gabby and J.D. were hanging out in the same neighborhood today. Silly kitties!!

You can't give too much of the methyl B-12. It's water soluble and whatever amount is in excess of what J.D.'s body needs, he'll excrete out.

Those bunnies and kitties were soooooooooo cute.

Maybe JD wants some Easter candy to bring up those numbers.

I'm not sure if I gave him 1.00, s1.00, or F0.75, but I'll call it s1.00 and try to be consistant.
Both kitties got FF Beef with pieces of shrimp mixed in for dinner (and J.D. had another 1/4 of 1MG of methylcobalamin) for 1st Dinner, and then the kitties traded bowls :roll: :lol: I got up to see how much was left in J.D.'s bowl that Ginger was eating out of and there was a lot of FF still in there, so I took it to him near his bed and told him to eat the rest and he did.
