Hi there,
Not been on for a while as been busy with the kids. I would be grateful for anyone able to cast their eye over our s/sheet. We do seem to be very bouncy! Once I get him to hit the green then we end up with a right rollercoaster!
I have some questions:
1) Should I reduce the free-feeding? H seems extremely hungry at random times and I have been feeding him during the day as and when I can. Just reading another condo I think I should start marking up when I have done this with an asterix? Don't want to be leaving wet food out now it's summer because of the flies...
2) Because we are so bouncy I can't predict when I should be increasing the dose that easily? - it's hard to see when the nadirs are as I can't see a pattern? Because we had the low a few days ago I have left him on the 2iu for now. To me, 2 seems like a good number for him atm?
We have had the second cat (who is actually my mums cat - mum lives 5 doors down) staying over recently. The cats tend to visit both houses during the day/s but when mum is away Bencat comes to stay with us. I have noticed that Harry eats less once Bencat has gone home. The cats have lived together on and off for about 10 years now so get on OK - it's just there is constant change as to where Ben is staying. They can both wander into either house as they please but when mum is away (she is away a lot) they only get fed here and obviously Harry never gets fed at mothers and mum always pulls up any spare food that Ben doesn't eat. We have considered getting restricted catflaps now - as it's getting harder and harder to regualte both cats. I think we might be at a point where we need to keep them seperate as Ben needs constant feeding and we can't risk Harry eating it!
Anyways - any input gratefully received, hope you all have a great day,
Jax
