Good morning!
AMPS 194 shooting 2.0u
Boomer ate all of his overnight food except for 1 tsp. This morning when I woke up he came up beside me and wanted a cuddle; apparently he had been sleeping on the end of the bed.

Yesterday was a blah (weather) kind of day here; it didn't rain a lot like predicted but it was dull, chilly and damp. I did run over to Saunders Pond for a walk and to check for loons and Pileateds but there was nothing there except for Song Sparrows, Red-Winged Blackbirds, and 2 Bluejays.
Today is supposed to be beautiful and warm! DH and I will go on a short road trip this afternoon with Boomer's permission. I've heard of a park where there is a Barred Owl hanging out; I want to check that out. Meanwhile, I'm going out this morning to Saunders Pond (Loon and Pileated check) then will go to Woodland to check on the owls; I think the babies will be out of the nest soon.
Today's photo is of a favourite bird of mine and one that I had only seen once before this past winter.....saw it twice this winter and now it's hanging around Saunders Pond and appears to be nesting! This is an Eastern Bluebird.
