Nice flat cat! He's looking great Lizzie. Doodles loved watching the heavy equipment when the shop and pool were built out back. The doorbell however would have him bolt under the bed:rolleyes:

See my avatar? That is the back window. It looks into the back yard so it is just right for him to sit or stand like he is in the picture and watch all the happening. This is the first year we have had multiple rabbits. For about 4 years we have had only one - we now have three and they come up within feet of the window. Along with the new bird feeder (which is what he is looking at in the avatar) - it keeps him entertained - no need for the "Cat TV" video.

My main concern is knowing when it is ok to leave him and when I should stay and monitor. Like this morning - that drop to 70 @ +2 I was scared to leave him, but he was ok. The numbers are strickly on his LC feeding schedule. He got food at +4.5 (30 min after the last test of 68) and then nadir is around +5-+6. I am truly enjoying these numbers. So is he. He got a food change this morning and the reduced quantity at each feeding/snack. He was eating good this morning.

That's always the tricky part. If he continues this nice surfing in time you'll get more comfortable. All of a sudden Doodles stopped bouncing Dec 9, 2015 and became a tightly regulated surfing kitty. We call that "snapping"....Gizmo will show you in time if this is what he intends to do now :)

Surf safe today Gizmo and enjoy the new home improvement channel on the cat window TV.

I know your frustration with trying to figure out where they are headed. It can really be tough sometimes. Their patterns change over time and all we can do is squint at the spreadsheet and follow the furballs lead in this dance. They make the rules and we get to guess at what they are.

Hi Lizzie, Got the Joint Purr-fection today. Says put directly in mouth, can I just add it to his food? Do you refrigerate yours?

I tried to give it via dropper directly - Gizmo wouldn't have any of it - some say their cats love it and will just lick it as it is dropped. I put it directly in his PS food (the entire dose in one feeding). I didn't refrigerate my first couple of bottles but it seemed to get darker and thicker towards the end of the bottle. Now I do and no long have that issue (I have no idea if it impacted the effectiveness of the product, I just figure it can't hurt it).

**YAY!! All food eaten today. Looks like I was feeding too much! We will try this for a while and see if it continues.

Need advise on dosing for Miralax. I have given SEB a good try. He got 1/8 tsp 04/03 AM, 1/8 tsp 04/04 AM/PM and 1/4 tsp 04/05 AM. He has produce a small portion. I am going to add it to his +2.5 food tonight if nothing has been produced to that point. He is NOT acting as if this is an issue (previously he has butt scooted and dropped pebbles - but none of that). If I hadn't search high and low for a deposit somewhere in the house (other than the LB) I would swear he is going somewhere - but I can find NO evidence.

Over at Tanya's it says 1/8-1/4 tsp in food - do you add it to water and dissolve it first?

I mix it in with Bronx's wet food, dissolves right away and has no taste at all.
