Good morning!
AMPS 160 shooting 2.0u
Well. I tested at PM+2 last night because of his low numbers yesterday. And he had dropped so I thought we might be in for a long night. But I fed at +2 and it stabilized his numbers and he didn't vary much over the next couple of hours; I stayed up until +5.5 with him then went to bed. Couldn't get to sleep for the longest time but eventually did and then just after 4:00 (+9) he starts yelling! Scared me half to death thinking he was low and I was out of bed and hurrying out to him before I was even fully awake. Tested him and of course he was perfectly fine at 117 and just wanted yet more food (I had already topped his food up before going to bed).

I'm heading out again this morning; the next couple of days are supposed to be rainy. Yesterday I had great luck at my first stop, Saunders Pond, getting decent shots of an Eastern Bluebird, a Phoebe, a Swallow (having just migrated in), a female Cardinal, and a Song Sparrow. I also visited the owl's nest but by then it was extremely windy which made it quite cold so I gave up and went home.
Today's shot is from a couple of days ago; the Mama Owl had flown in and landed in the tree just long enough to scare the Canada Goose away; then she flew back out again.
