J.D. slept with me all night

I think his ears are pretty sore from this 3 day weekend, as he is more hesitant to jump up to the couch for testing, but he gets all day today with no pokies.

1st Breffis has been eaten, and J.D. is getting ready to lay in his bed to digest.

My thoughts and prayers are with BigMac and Carolyn, for a full and quick recovery.
God received a lot of Thank Yous last night.

Vyktor has had some pretty heavy test fests lately but I don't seem to have any trouble with his ears getting sore and I don't use any pain relief or anything. The only thing I think I probably do differently from everybody else is to prick from the inside of the ear. I wonder if I am just lucky with his ears or if poking the inside instead of the outside makes a difference somehow?

And where was Ginger while you and J.D. were snuggling last night was it three in the bed or some one on one time for you and J.D.? It's so awesome that he's feeling better

I do prick the insides of his ears as he has black hair on the outsides and white and a lot less hair on the insides. I think it's actually my thumb nail stroking the outside to milk the blood to bleed up that hurts him. I think it becomes like a burn eventually. It's mostly when I'm milking the ear on the outside that he seems to flinch. Poor guy.

Ginger does not sleep with me and never has. If she sleeps in the bed at all, it's in the very corner, and if I move my foot or something, she jumps off. I wish she would snuggle too.

Oh not much, apparently. That's okay, I'm still tired from two nights ago.
We spent some time outdoors until +1 or so. They ate 1st Dinner, and we all went outside again. Now, we're in for the night and 2nd Dinner has been eaten. And, I get to clean up this little mess J.D. made when he accidently tipped over the litter box

Oh dear, what a fun job!

I guess I am just lucky with Vyktors ears then. What a shame I was hoping pricking the insides might be a miraculous easy fix for all the sore eared kitties :sad: The difference probably is in the milking, I rarely have to do that for Vyktor and have absolutely no finger nails to do it with - even before FD :lol: Or maybe it's because Vyktor's ears haven't been pricked for as long as J.D.'s, or maybe it's just because they are cats :YMSIGH: sorry J.D. I was hoping I was onto something for you.
