How is he acting/behaving? Cats are way more than their numbers, especially when bouncing.

He pretty much hangs out on his pillow all day with the exception of going to the kitty box. He is grumpy and I have had to encourage him--kind of shepherd him--into the kitchen to test him and give him hs medications. I have to pill him in addition to everything else and that is a struggle since he stopped accepting pill pockets. He used to love them. I've had to use the Open Farm broth to blend up a smoothie of his food and have had to keep dabbing Churu treats onto the top. I may have inadvertently created this eating habiit but in any case he now wants to eat only on his pillow. He used to take his treat happily in the kitchen but now just sits until I move the food to his pillow in the dining room. Look I know Eddie is wicked smart and in part he's maniipulating my worry so that I keep putting Churu onto his food until he finsihes. He didn't finsih last night no matter what and we had a chasing around the house session so that I could pill him. I feel awful about what I have to do to him.

Sending you positive energy, Jodey. I’m going through similar stuff with Ivy and the lack of motivation to eat on her own.

I also wonder if I’ve created a situation by sticking the bowl under her face and spoon feeding her in her bed if I need to get the food into her. So I get it.
Hoping it gets better for you and Eddie.:bighug::bighug::bighug:
