Good Morning

Salems doing ok mow after the other nights low of 34/37 BGs . That really scared me .
I have seen that bg on a bad strip but never as a real test result .
it really got me running ! My DH he does not know ?! I was running around grabbing the HC food in full panic mode he was telling me Salems ok theres nothing wrong with that cat !
your panicking for nothing !
Boy did i lsu in in him ! I said YES hes fine now ! Cause i caught it but you do not understand if i do not get his bg up he will be in a diabetic comma ! He doesnt just go into a commA right away ! Silly man !
Lucky Salem ate and ate we got his sugar up within the hour testing every 2 mins- 15 mins .
I do not understand how he just drops ?
Mysugr tells me ....lol they think its me ? .... You can be insulin sensitive depending on your activity . Different things can bring your sugar down . Well do i have to start watching salems activity ? Lol ! Hes differently getting fat ! I cant handle hes weight ? I gotta work on that ! Hes extremely big ! Its hard to control hes weight !
I guess just reduce ! Which we did to 2.50 units
Hes ok now but im afraid he will not stay in the greens as much ? He was bouncing yesterday . Lets hope on this dose he goes green again .

I do not understand why some of the states did not lock down sooner with all the cases they hsd and the deaths !

Salem definitely earned the reduction. Give him a little time to see what he does on the reduced dose before you think about increasing again.

I diffidently do not want to increase now after that low of a bg . Lol . Just worried i guess after we started to go over the 1.75-2 units he was use to . He was always in between those two doses then he went over that 2 units . I got use to those doses snd hum
Being green mostly . Then he started going up in the high blues . I guess he had insulin residents ? ? Not sure if i spelled that right .
Hes not that active though ? Maybe thats the problem not that hes too active but not active enough . Im looking forward to let him go outside and walk around . He keeps wanting to go outside in the oorcj and explore ! I guess hes bored . He doesnt want to play much with the other cats . But hes laying around . Maybe hes depressed ? Maybe thats why hes laying around so much ! Sleeping so . Hes not very active !

Fingers crossed for you and Salem!! He's had a good run of green pancreas healing time, hopefully he'll be back to all greens again soon.

Tina, my husband is the same way. "Cat is fine" while I'm getting honey and syrup in because she's 29, 32. Sad to say but I'm use to it and go on auto pilot to do what has to be done. Lately Ollie has been diving every 4th cycle so it been close monitoring. And she has been stubborn at coming up.

As much as you don't want them that low, think okay now you get a reducie. Of course I would prefer if Ollie just tells me mom give me less from now on, it just doesn't happen.

Should it happen again (and it will), breathe first, retest to make sure, and just start treating the low numbers. You can handle it.
