Doing good still, good appetite and good numbers. He's been pooping every 2-4 days so hopefully he'll be regular again soon.
Will be starting to give just a drop tomorrow, hopefully that goes well. Checked my technique to get the drop and I'm doing it correctly so I shouldn't have anything to worry about.
Going grocery shopping today. They haven't been allowing pick up orders online at our Sam's Club and they were all booked up at Walmart but we finally managed to grab the only time that was available in the evening.
Still have to get some stuff at Sam's Club though, wish us luck. Maybe it won't be so crowded today since most people grabbed their stuff the last couple of weeks.
I did manage to get a relion meter and strips in my pick up order. Even though he's close to remission I thought it'd be a good idea to have an extra meter on hand, especially where I'm almost out of strips with the Contour Next meter. Do I need to get some test solution first to be able to use it?
Hope everyone has a great day!:bighug:

I'm glad Thomas is doing well and has a good appy. I hope you can get what you need when you go out. Ideally it is better to have some test solution on hand, but you don't have to have it.

Great news Brittany, it sounds like Thomas J. is doing really well. :D How exciting to be practicing drawing up one drop!!
How is Hidee doing? Eating well I hope. :bighug:
Good luck with your grocery shopping!! :)

Nice to hear Thomas is ready for drop method. Must be nice to practice one drop. I will never have to worry about that. We are lucky if we can get and hold 4.5 units here.

Hidee will always be picky but she's eating now at least, no starving herself at the moment.:)

I'm very thankful, if it wasn't for everyone here at the forum I doubt he'd be at this point. I'm not sure what would've happened if I had just listened to my vet. Even if he doesn't go into remission I'm happy to have him well regulated at the moment.:D

So, it took longer than I thought to pick up groceries. I got home almost 2 hours late for his shot so I decided to skip it. Hopefully it won't affect him too much.

Comparing the Contour Next with the Relion Prime. Tested my blood first: Relion 100, Contour 109. Very close. Tested Thomas', both 73. I'll compare tomorrow as well before switching. Interested in how close their results are. Still switching to the Relion Prime as it's more cost effective and it's good to have an extractor on hand.
