Look at Chaos this AM. 340. I am disappointed. Either this is one long bounce, or he is not holding the reduction. I know the night time checks are missing from the SS. When it's late, I usually write the number down instead of getting the computer out again and I cannot find the slip I was writing them down on. They were all yellow, not a blue number among them. So what do you think, LL wise ones? Do I take him back to 2.75u? I don't want to wait too long to increase this time.

In better news, I got the Giant Eagle job. They sent me a formal offer letter via email yesterday, and orientation is tomorrow AM. I will be asking for advice on managing Chaos while I go to TBP in the coming days, once I find out how my schedule is going to look. Things are going to change, but I believe Chaos and I can adapt and cope... we've come through so much already.

congrats on the job!! Awesome - I am so very happy for you. What a great opportunity. :-D

Sorry for the pink this morning... Not too sure on the dose, looks like he could use more juice, maybe fatten it up? The .25 increase last time sent him to a 39. Well - I'd wait for those in the know to take a look.

Does your meter store the numbers? If so, you can retrieve your test data that way.

It looks to me like the reduction didn't hold -- well, that's providing all of the PM data looks pretty much like the AM data. I'd bring Chaos' dose back up providing there's nothing different this cycle.

Thanks, Sienne. I think we'll go back up to 2.75u tonight unless he shows me something good this cycle. I want him back in the greens. If he scores another below-40 on 2.75u, maybe we'll work him down drop by drop instead of a .25u reduction.

I just filled out all of my new job paperwork online, and one of the sections was for uniform measurements. Oh boy, is this going to be a disaster! None of my actual measurements were listed as options because I am too small, too short, and don't fall within normal size ranges. I had to pick the smallest options available and they aren't even close. I'm sure to look like a child wearing her mama's clothes and playing "cake shop" :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Kinda hard to be taken seriously, looking like that. At least they had my shoe size. That's the really important one. There are days when I wish I was an average-sized bean instead of an extra-tiny bean and this is one of them!

Chaos has been super mellow today. Ditto for civie Lu. I don't think either of them are enjoying this cold snap we're having and they are trying to hibernate until it's over. It warmed up a little bit yesterday and they were being really obnoxious about wanting out, so I went ahead and let them out... they only lasted about 20 minutes before they were back at the door. Poor guys, they want it to warm up just as badly as I do.

Seeing some of the dresses you made, I'm sure you'll have the uniform fitting a bit better. Can't wait to hear about it. I hope its a good group to work with and you do love it.

Big congratulations on getting the job!! You must have impressed them with your calmness during the cake frosting test. I didn't know you also make clothes. You are so talented -- cake baking, cooking gourmet meals, and sewing. I am so jeolous!

Glad to see Chaos come down at the +3.

Dian, I'm all over it. No working on Aug 13th, I'll be at the gathering! :mrgreen:

Chaos has come down, but only to 200 so far. Assuming he doesn't pull anything fancy this afternoon, we're going to go back to his previous dose. He was upset because I cleaned the entire kitchen, floor and cat fud bowls included. Ants, you know... they love cat food. He's happy now, though. Fud bowl safely replaced and fuds and reassurance pets were given.

I am unsure if I am allowed to alter the uniforms or if they are the property of the uniform company. It's definitely high up on my list of questions for tomorrow. I'm just sort of stunned for the moment, can't quite believe it all.
 
Congrats, Violet!!! I had a good feeling. :) I think if you let them know your uniform issues, they can probably work with the uniform company to get ones that fit. Especially given that you'll be working around ovens and knives... ill-fitting uniforms can create a risk of injury that the store will want to avoid (and if they argue with you, you should put it to them in those terms!).

Good luck with the dosecrease! I'm sure Chaos will be back down in blues/greens in no time!
