03/29/20 Thomas J. AMPS 57, +6.5 41?/58, +7.5 64, PMPS 70, +4.5 70

Not sure if he was actually 41 or not. I rested to double check and it was 58. He got his lunch after regardless. About to check his blood again.

Should I reduce already because of the supposed 41 or treat it like it was the 58 and keep the same dose?

Doing alright! Rainy here in New York state. Mimi pulled some tricks pre shot and the first few hours afterwards but I got her out of shark waters back into the lagoon, and now I think she's headed towards drying off a bit in the sun.

Glad you retested. If you don’t get quite enough blood on the strip, it can read lower.

Thomas J is looking good.:D
Yeah, I was having difficulty getting a reading. I went through 5 or 6 test strips and it would act like there was enough blood then show a testing error.
Not an error for not enough blood. It gives you a chance to add more if there isn't enough so I don't think it was just not enough. Of course that could still be the case though.
My brother said with this meter that tends to show errors when reading low numbers from his experience with it. I have noticed that this happens nearly every time he has these low numbers.
My test strips don't expire for another year and I always keep it closed so not sure what causes it. May be time to do a test with the control solution, maybe that would help.
