Ella measured out at 272 this morning but it would have been lower as she BEGGED me for food at 4:00am and I gave her less than ann 1/8. The little bit satisfied her. I think she searches for food when her blood sugars are on their way down because she get uneasy about not being 'high'. I took her bg at 4:00 and it was 263 and I'm pretty sure if I held of it would have lowered. Perhaps I offset what could have been a bounce if she went to low? This is what has been happening in the past. When she gets used to the 3u again she won't wake me up!

I can't imagine that tiny bit of food majorly influenced her morning numbers, but I'm not 100% on that either .. have you thought about purchasing an auto feeder? We used one for mocha, mainly overnight .. it was a major help to us .. have a great day guys!
Ella usually doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night for food so I don't think an auto feeder is needed at this moment. However it may be helpful sometime down the road when she's on wet and might need to reulate her bg. Unfortunately for her, that would mean being locked up all day as we have 3 other cats that would LOVE the auto feeder
