Hi, beans and kitties!

Happy Sunday! It looked for a moment as if Chaos had cleared his bounce with an AMPS of 212, but he's gone up at +3 with 258. Perhaps a food spike? I hope so. I'd really like it if he went down to nicer numbers this time instead of going up, up, up! He is a happy furbaby today, lounging on the new couch like he owns it. That's my boy! 5 P's in place, a little affection, and a nice appetite. Now if we could just get to the blue floor... I know already we're not getting any greens. :-| I ran out first thing this AM and bought him two boxes of strips with my cake money, so we're set for a while.

I am exhausted. I worked all day with an upset stomach and not much to eat... lemme tell ya, the smell of cake and icing is not the best thing when your tummy is a bit "off". But I did it, all is finished, and I am very, very tired. I may sleep through the baby shower despite all my niece's giggling 20-something friends! I'm off to the party soon, hope I survive. Attached are the fruits of 2 days' labor.

Those cakes are amazing! you are talented.

Chaos has warmed up to the couch huh!? Good boy Chaos. Hope he finds them blues for you today Violet. Enjoy the shower :mrgreen:

Well, it didn't take Chaos too long to warm up to the new coach. Hope he comes down a little for you today. Simon always goes up at +3 because he eats so much at breffis so hoping Chaos is the same.

The cakes look so yummy -- gorgeous decorating and what a talent you have.

Thank you so much, everyone. You are all soooo kind! I worked hard, yes, but my work is far from perfect. I have a long way to go, but I am enjoying making people happy along the way. I had to cut up the baby shower cake, which was bittersweet. I don't normally have to destroy them myself! :lol: :lol: The baby shower has me really excited to meet my new grand-nephew!

Chaos was down a little bit to 235 at +5 before I left, at least that's down instead of up. We shall see what tonight's PMPS brings us. Chaos has been in nap mode since I left. He saves his energy for when I'm here, I guess. He just got up and looked at me, and it was so funny- the fur on one side of his face was all smashed down from sleeping and he looked all lop-sided. I guess even cats get bed hair! :lol:

Looks like Chaos is giving you some flat yellows today for tonight's action ....I hope you're up for it!!!

The cakes are incredible...I especially love the butterfly one since I LOVE butterflies. You are amazingly talented. Hope the shower is fun!!
 
Well, ol' bouncy face did it to me again. Another pink PMPS! ohmygod_smile How does he do it? I swear he must be going out for donuts while I am gone or something. I'm incredibly diligent about keeping bread crumbs, bits of frosting, etc. cleaned up so that he doesn't lick them up and raise his numbers. I know it seems crazy but ever since he developed FD, Chaos will eat some pretty random stuff if he's hungry. I caught him trying to eat cake once, a year ago, and have never left anything like that out again. So I don't know.. possibly a very panicky liver?

So I'm not expecting much action tonight, but will be checking just in case. Chaos has happily scarfed up his dinner and is lying under the coffee table, looking at the TV. I sometimes wonder if he's watching it or just randomly looking. He never stares at it for long.

About the butterfly cake- Thanks! I was pretty excited when they asked me to do that. I think he turned out to be a pretty cute butterfly.
 
The cakes are gorgeous...but Chaos...the numbers not so much!

buddy, the lower numbers really do feel better!
