Good Morning :-D Hey, it's was still morning, when I started writing this..

I gave J.D. a tiny TOR last night at PMPS but it didn't really do anything. That happens when he's stubbornly into his bounce. I thought about giving him some more this morning, but decided to wait. And went btb for a bit.

On Wednesday, the day after the major diarreha and throw up day, I made a vet appointment at my regular vet's office for Saturday, just in case. My regular vet wasn't available, but I made he appointment with whatever vet was. Yesterday at work, I called to ask about what time I should cancel if I felt I didn't need the appointment and they said I could cancel first thing in the morning, as the time slot would be quickly filled (Saturday appointments are precious, that's why I grabbed one on Wednesday when I could). I slept in and just decided to take him this morning, although, I did feel a little guilty that I was taking a slot that some poor other worried fur parent could use more than me, if I had cancelled it.

So, we saw a new vet, that I've never met before, and he seemed pretty knowledgeable (sp?). He didn't blink an eye at the BG of 39 the other day nor at my testing. Yeah! I had him check J.D.'s back tooth and he said something about maybe a cleaning and/or removal someday. Yeah! He told me to stop the ALBON and just let his gut get back to regualar itself. He seemed pretty knowledgeable about the digestive track. And he thinks it was all the food I fed him on Monday night when he went low that caused his tummy to do what it did. I also asked him about the strange awful noises that J.D. makes after he play fights with Ginger, and that is still a mystery..

J.D. ate okay (not ravenous, left some in the bowl  ) at AMPS, and again right before we left for the vet at +3.75.
When we returned home, he went right to his bowl, and licked it clean and then ate another 1/4 can, so I think he's going to feel "right as rain" in no time.

Well off to take the cats out for a walk in the sunshine..

bbl.

Very cool about the new vet - he sounds like a keeper!!!!

Hope JD is back to his normal self quickly. Sounds like he's getting there.

It looks nice outside. All sunny, but there is a very cold wind out there. My bird bath is still frozen and so is most of the dirt in my garden.
J.D. another meal at +6.5 when we got back in the house, and is now 249 at +7.5.

I have to leave for a couple hours. I have these Used Car Dealers bugging me, and I'm feeling presured by them ARG!
to come look a their dumb cars
