J.D. did eat as much as I'd like to see him eat last night, based on the 2.5 hours between PMPS and +2.5 that I was awake.
He didn't want to get out of bed this morning, and only ate a bit, mostly drank the water with the Miralax from his 1st Breffis. So, I just gave him some cypro.

I think I am taking advantage of my one day off and going btb.

Hope that btb thing worked out better for you than it did for me this morning...I woke up @ 5:30 and never was able to go back to sleep...after 3 hrs of trying I finally got up and went to my neighbor's.

Almost green, but not quite.

J.D. was an eating machine all morning, once the cypro kicked in. Thanks for the vines.

It's a spring like sunny 57 degrees outside, and I just got back from an errand, and I'm going to take the cats for a walk now.

Oh Dyana, BIG HUGE LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG HUG....it won't sink in for a while. It's so hard to lose our siblings...my 'little' brother passed a couple of years ago. It didn't seem real for days.

Lots of prayers for calm and comfort right now...and more hugs,

Thanks. I wasn't even crying yet, until I read your posts. But I needed to, so thanks. I am still in shock.
She just turned 50 on the 11th. I wrote her an email and she didn't respond until the 13th to say she had been feeling sick for days. She just went into the hospital last Saturday. It was so quick. She was the healthiest of us all. Always jogging and eating organic foods. Her daughters are 18, 16, and 11, I think. Their dad lives in Washington. This must be absolutely awful for them.

I called my dad, but he didn't answer, so I talked to my step mom for a bit. They are planning to drive up to Oregon. That's a long drive for my dad just after his surgery. I wish my step mom would drive more, or they would take a flight. I guess they don't want to leave their dog home alone, and he's a scotche too big to fit under the seat in an airplane.

I called my boss. I talked to my neighbor, in case I have to leave with J.D. and leave Ginger at home. I am afraid to call my brothers.

Kathy was so loved :( Just such a good person. Dag Nabit!

From your post earlier this week, I had assumed your sister had turned a corner -- in a good way. I am so sorry. I hope she finds Barb at the Bridge and they tell all kinds of stories that make them laugh and they keep watch over us all.

I also thought she was doing better and I am so, so very sorry for your loss. This is such a tragedy that someone so young and healthy with so much to live for and those young daughters would pass so quickly. We are keeping your entire family in our prayers.

We only met last weekend when you were so very kind,in staying alongside me until Bailey was out of danger.
I was shocked and saddened to read about the loss of your sister,my thoughts are with you.

Oh (((Dyana))) I am so shocked and truly sorry to hear this. It sounded like things were turning around there. I have also lost a sister and know that nothing said can really help, but knowing people care sure does. Please know my heart is with you and I will pray for your own heart to find peace.

Dyana, I am so sorry to hear this. Sending prayers of comfort and peace to you and your family during this time of mourning. I pray for strength for her daughters as they will need all the strength they can muster and then some. Bless you, my friend and safe travels if and when you go.
 
Thank you everyone for your kind words and hugs and prayers for my family.
I mostly think about her daughters now, as their father did not live with them. And I think about my Dad.
Kathy did seem more her old self the last time I talked to her, and she was laughing and her spirits seemed better, but her blood numbers had gone down again and they were to start doubling the treatments (transfusions).
I remember during our vacation at my Dad's at Thanksgiving last year, she had mentioned that she would see if she could catch a flight out. She called at 9:00am one morning, and said she had just woken up, the flight was at 11:00am, she wasn't dressed, or even started to pack yet, and didn't know what she was going to do about leaving her girls, and that she probably would not make it. I said "ooooooooh". And she made the flight, and was at my Dad's that afternoon. And that wasn't the first time she pulled off miracles. She was such a lovely Sister and mother to her kids, and to her pets.
