Good morning!
AMPS 205 shooting 2.0u
Thought last night he was starting a bounce. I was right.

Boomer ate all of his overnight food except for about a tsp. He's been sneezing regularly; I think my boy has allergies.

On the agenda today....well it started to rain yesterday in the evening and the rain is continuing. I have to go out this morning to get some blood work done (no coffee :arghh:). Not sure what I'm going to do today....I got my props/equipment in the basement cleaned up yesterday. Should start working on income tax I suppose :p

Today's photo is of a Killdeer.....they're one of the "early birds" to come back during spring migration!

Doing better, thanks for asking. I am so afraid now to leave him during the day after I shoot. The hypo has changed the game here.
I'm so glad you got home from your trip when you did!
Yes, I would be nervous about leaving too. Are you able to get any further tests before you leave for work?

Hi Judy,
I hope Boomer will slide on down today and that he'll stop sneezing. What could he be allergic to? Maybe something in the materials the workmen used?
The rain is arriving here, and will turn to snow. We're expecting another major winter storm tomorrow.

Nice photo of the Killdeer. You have a great variety of birds where you live--both residents and migrants.

It could possibly be the dust, I actually didn't think of that....when his eye was watering a few days ago I knew DH had the door open for a while the day before so I presumed spring allergies.

It's funny....I remember when I first got hooked on wildlife photography.....I was in my backyard setting up my new camera...I would have sworn that the only birds I had in my backyard were sparrows with an occasional visit from a cardinal. But in an hour I photographed Goldfinches, a Downy Woodpecker, a Flicker, Cardinals, starlings, sparrows (of course) and I actually forget what else....there were 8 or 9 different species. I was hooked after that.

We're expecting snow as well tomorrow although it shouldn't stay. Then back to better temperatures for the weekend. We had sun for 5 days in a row here....unbelievable!

Supposedly when a Killdeer makes his call it sounds like he's saying "Kill Deer" Someone must have a good imagination!
I've listened to it & it doesn't sound like that to me? http://soundbible.com/tags-killdeer.html

What do you guys hear? Kill deer?

Nice photo Judy.:)

The 3rd one sounds like the Killdeer calls in my "iBird Plus" app. The other two do not.
I agree, however, that it is hard to hear "Kill-deer" in the recordings (there are 5 examples in iBird Plus).

oh oh still going down at +9 112
Hope I'm not going to have a long night ahead of me; for some reason today I'm extremely tired.

PMPS 104
+2 92 gave a tsp of higher carb
+3 88 he didn't drop as much as usual (even with the high carb at +2). I'm still giving him a wee bit of higher carb
