J.D. did not want his 1st Breffis on the couch where he was relaxing, nor did he want it when the bowl was held up for him, nor resting on the couch pillow (so it was raised). He did not want it with lots of toppings. He would take the teeniest lick, but that was it.
I had given him some Pepcid earlier, and so I gave him some ondansetron and cypro.
He went back to bed, and so I carried his bowl of uneaten food with all the toppings on it, and layed it on my bed next where he was. And CPC. It's not who, why, when, or what.. it's where you put the food, I guess.

I hate days like that when you have to follow them with the food dish. At least J.D. finally ate. I hope he slides down today.

That's what I am finding as well with Zeus. For a long time now, I have fed Zeus in the kitchen and Smokey in the living room. Same wet food, same bowl, same everything except location. Zeus always samples his, but hurries in to finish Smokeys as soon as she steps away. I just recently started to bring his dish in the living room, and he happily will eat from it like its the best thing ever. They are just so funny :lol:

I'm glad you finally found the right spot today so that J.D. Could eat his breffis, ;-) hope he slides down for a blue/green surf today.

J.D. is making sure you get your exercise? Or just making sure you know just who is the boss? :lol: We've got several places the kitties like their food.. and they will walk in front of us.. talking.. leading us to the "correct" spot. :roll:

J.D. probably had another flat yellow day.. :-| I'll probably add a drop to his dose this weekend, even though I really only get Satuday off, he does come to work with me on Sunday, so I can test him there.

Right after PMPS, I spilled a bag of EVO Dry food all over the kitchen floor. I swept most of it up and had put some of it in a container. The cats were outside I thought, and I was feeding my squirrel friends, when I went back in the house and J.D. had dumped over the container (which I had left on the coffee table ohmygod_smile ) all over the living room carpet. So, even though I tried to get most of that up, the kitties still gorged on EVO Dry :sad: . I only use it as an occasional treat and very rarely as a food topping to get J.D. to eat when I have to leave the house. :YMSIGH:

If I call that his 1st Dinner, he just ate his 2nd Dinner of regular FF a few minutes ago.
 
i can just hear those kitties... "BONANZA!!!! Look what mom left for us!" J.D. you goofy boy! It's amazing what they can do if they really want to. I hope the rest of your evening is nice and quiet. mary and ollie
 
Sorry, Dyana, but I had to giggle a little. Last week, I walked out of the room with not one, but two kibble bowls on the floor, thinking Trix was upstairs. She wasn't ohmygod_smile ...but boy, was she happy at her bean's foolishness!!!
