Good morning!
AMPS 275 :eek::eek::eek: shooting 2.0u

Boomer ate all of his overnight foods. I woke up last night around 1:30, couldn't see him in his bed, on the bench, or on our bed and I couldn't hear him eating.....so I got up to go look for him to make all was ok. Couldn't find him in the rest of the house; walked back into the bedroom and he was in his bed. He was laying in such a way that I couldn't see the white on him :rolleyes:

Yesterday, which was supposed to be very cloudy all day, was quite sunny:rolleyes::) and I went out to two of my favourite spots in the morning, then in the afternoon DH and I went for a drive to a run-off pond on the other side of our city (saw 5 different duck species there plus a groundhog) then back to the park where the Horned Owls are nesting! I hate that the weather forecast is always wrong but I'm happy that we had no commitments yesterday and could enjoy the unexpected sun!

Today.....well our plans are changing since Boomer has decided to give us a day off. I'm heading out early; DH will test at +3 and unless Boomer has come down a considerable amount I will come home and we'll head out to a place about 45 minutes from here where the Tundra Swans are hanging out during their migration.

Today's photo is one I took yesterday. A tiny bird landed on a tall pole....I had no idea what bird I was shooting and when I looked on my camera I thought it was a junco. Found out different once I downloaded.....an Eastern Bluebird!

OH MY! I just love the Eastern Bluebirds!!! We get them in Michigan in warmer times - we had a nest once in our box out back, but so often the other birds take over the box and the bluebirds are picky and don't like the invaders...and they move on.

Love the pic! Congrats on the day off yesterday!

Boomer had you hunting last night. He was probably laughing in his sleep.

I put up bluebird boxes when we moved in. First year we had 2 clutches of 5 babies each. All fledged. Then nothing for a few years. Then another nesting of 4 babies but all died before fledgling, don't know why. We had to move a box last year and they didn't move in. Will see what happens this year.

Today has gone according to plan; thank you Boomer for allowing the Beans to get away for a while!
Next we're meeting DH's family for dinner at The Keg.

A very strange cycle for Boomer today but it worked out very well for us so I won't complain too much.
