Notes from vet visit yesterday: weight good (not loosing), checked eyes and mouth, not a tick on his ear, heart and lungs sound good, regular blood test and urinalysis sent to IDEXX, Acro and IAA tests sent to MSU, and received written prescriptions for Lantus and syringes.
Jackson hides behind me while waiting for the vet and I can feel him trembling and shaking back there. He is a good boy for the vet though.

Jackson was yellow almost all day yesterday.
I am keeping the same dose for now as I still have jury duty all this week. I don't have to go today. Yay!

I tried to send a picture of Jackson with his green bow tie on from my iphone to my email, so I could then screen shot it and post it here, but alas the picture never made it to my email on my laptop and is not in my spam folder.
 
Aww, poor Jackson, I'm sorry that the vet is so stressful for him! Sounds like the appointment went well overall though. I'm glad the on-site results were good, and fingers crossed for the same from the ones sent out.

He hides under his blanket in his carrier on the way to the vet, and rides on top of it on the way home.
I'm hoping for the best.
 
I am praying for my vet. When I asked her if she was feeling better yesterday she said she had a melt down on Thursday and had to go home. She looked so tired yesterday.
She said her sister had surgery and wasn't doing so well. I am praying for her sister too.
I love my vet. She is the owner of her practice just years old and worked so hard, and is such a loving person. I didn't get any results today, but that's okay.
