Getting a bit concerned re: the rise and thinking two things: a) Prednisolone in ear medicated added to the Prednisolone dose he already gets daily; b) rise in numbers=active acromegaly??

He's only half way through his ear treatment, at least presuming no more than 10 days. Pred can definitely impact the amount of insulin needed. I wouldn't jump to any other conclusion right now. It could be he'll need another increase due to ear pred, but it's too soon after the last increase.
