TUFFY, WCR - fine. Same obnoxious Tuffy, always into something. This is the reason I continue to test Her Majesty. She gets very upset when the ferals arrive for breakfast. I consider restarting insulin then she drops. She is just keeping me on my toes I guess. Any thoughts or opinion welcomed. Tuffy is just Tuffy. An independent "cat".

Hi, Barbara & Tuffy.. great to see the #s come on down on their own.
I suspect that is enough & Tuffy does not need back on the juice.. but I dunno how high the BGs read before it is suggested they get back on the juice.
Some kitties do run higher.. Baby gave 2 Blue #s & I put her back on the juice.. but she was a kitty who surfed low/mid greens for nearly 8 months OTJ, so I knew something was up. Good luck.. Tuffy's #s are very encouraging at +1.5 & +3.

WOW!!! Is there a way to avoid stress from her seeing the ferals? Maybe a different feeding station/spot?

Can't help on when they are out of remission but I'll give you a bump

well that is a beautiful curve, Tuffy, but you're really not supposed to go that high without insulin...

Barbara, I would leave well enough alone. She came down a lot. If you had given even a drop of insulin, I bet she would have gone to the 20s.

I agree with Libby. Tuffy on insulin will be Tuffy in the 20s. Other than that first test, Tuffy's numbers are great.

I think looking good, too, and you know Tuffy better than anyone. She brings herself right down!!!

Well, in normal Tuffy form, she is down again. Thanks for your responses. As we have all seen, not all sugarkitties stay OTJ. I test frequently because Tuffy was so tough. I want to know what she is doing and be prepared in the event she needs support. She will always be a "sugarkitty". She has not been easy and I would not have made it without FDMB. I don't want to be caught unaware if she starts running higher numbers. That being said, I also think Tuffy likes the attention of being tested. She is very cooperative and on the days I haven't tested she looks at me like "what's the deal".

What would we do with out our precious sugarkitties?

I know what you mean about enjoying the attention. Lots of times I can hardly test Jazzy because Lucy is in the way, headbutting and purring and circling around. Jazzy is afraid of Lucy so when Lucy is doing all that, Jazzy goes under the table where I can't reach her and just rubs on the table legs and chairs while she waits for the coast to clear. Those people who say testing is cruel or is hurting our cats need to come to my house at pokey time.

Looks to me like Tuffy being Tuffy--Just keep an eye out--We who know Tuffy Know she was the Original Olympic Diver before Mannie!! Wow, she could amaze you!--Now it's just a chance thing-Not to worry Barb--
Have utmost faith in you..Hugs from us!

Hi, guys!!

Annie & Smudge circle around the test rug BEGGING for the same treatment Binks gets...
I'd wind up in the ER if i ever tested either one of them!
