AMPS 339

Coming down. I am trying to decide if I am taking him to work today. I think I am going to wait until the +2 to make a decision but am leaning towards taking him. Yesterday was WAY too stressful and it looks like he is dropping - problem is, I don't know how far he will drop. Uncharted territory.

Everyone stay safe and warm :bighug: especially those on the east coast.

Good morn Lizzie. Looks like he's still bouncing from those greens yesterday.
Morning. Yep. I will probably run home and check and see where he is at nadir. That was a pretty big bounce for him. If you look at last nights +2 - I thought that maybe it wouldn't be too bad - but... He hasn't been that low in a very long time. I am hoping he comes back down gently - the see-saw of bouncing wrecks havoc on me and my schedule.

He was feeling good this morning! He was all lovey dovey, alert and active. That always makes me happy.

How is Bronx doing? Any adverse affects? AMPS looks nice this morning!

Started fish oil yesterday to hopefully help with his joint pain
Poor baby. :( What are you giving him? My vet recommended the same for Gizmo but I got overwhelmed trying to figure out which one. Do you just pin prick the gel cap and add to his food? I think that Gizmo's "wrists" in his front legs really bother him. I am currently using Joint Purr-Fection which seemed to help initially but it is just glucosamine and I would like to add the Omega 3 also.

Thanks! I like the PetAlive products! Adding it to my Amazon cart (my weekly Gizmo purchases :banghead:. Cat is going to have me in the poor house - lol.
This is PetLife, not PetAlive. But I do use the PetAlive BM Smooth and Blood Sugar Gold. Yes, all this stuff adds up quickly and my Lev pen lasts only 4-5 days at $33/ea. Spend more on Bronx than I do on myself lol.

Sweet guy, I often wonder what these big BG swings must feel like for them.
I was really happy to read that Gizmo was feeling good this morning. It's the perfect antidote to some of the stress we feel when trying our best to help them.

I really should look into the Omega 3 supplement for Uncle as well. I think he has shoulder and front wrist (do cats have "wrists"?) pain from only having one back leg :(

I have wondered that myself. I know when his numbers are going up/down quickly (in a cycle) he acts like he doesn't know what to do with himself. He paces, looks for food, will clean himself repeatedly. Kinda like he isn't sure if he feels good or bad - lol.
