I guess he's still in bounce from those early morning numbers yesterday.

I have a vet appointment at +11.25 tonight, so I have to leave work early and race home, grab J.D. and race to the vet for their last appt of the day. I have to remember to bring his insulin and glucometer too, because you know how you often have to wait in the waiting room. Anyway, sometimes he seems off, and it's probably just the high BGs, but I thought I would get bloodwork done. His dental was on 03/21, so it's been about 2 months. I hope my vet doesn't mind when I tell him I took J.D. elsewhere to get a dental.

J.D. ate his 1st Breffis. Ginger did not.

I hope J.D. slides down for you today. Sending good vetty vines for this afternoon and good appy vines for Ginger.

Hi guys .. ok J.D., time to come down from those higher numbers .. no fun being up there .. Good luck at the vetty's today .. hope the wait isn't too long .. and hopefully the vet doesn't mind you going anywhere else for a dental .. You had your reason's Im sure .. have a great day guys!

I don't know why he has to shoot up.
He ate about 1/4 can FF after we got home from the vet.

The vet examed him and somehow knew about the "teeth cleaning" and how much I paid. I guess the vets are in cahoots. He said he looked good and asked me why I was there, and that the instructions I left said I wanted blood work but he just had blood work "6 weeks ago". I told him I was a little tight on money anyway at the moment, and we agreed not to get the blood work at this time. He said my thinking he looked "off" once in awhile was probably because of his high numbers. I said that he doesn't always look off, it comes and goes. And sometimes he acts just fine and dandy when he's in those high numbers. I told him that it seems like when he's soaring (like now) that he seems off. I guess it's understandable. I wouldn't want my BGs rocketing up.

This is depressing. I'm going to bed, and catch up on some lost sleep.. after I feed the cats.. like J.D. needs more food spike.

Sorry about JD's "misbehaved" bg like Rosy's. I can understand how that feels.
Well, since the vet said JD's okay, he's okay. Sometimes cats like us have they up's & down, good appy, bad appy, good moments bad moments. Dont worry too much Dyana, hang in there. :YMHUG:
