I shot at +11 to get ready for DST the hard way. I know I deserve noodles. My shoot schedule / work schedule just isn't that flexible, and I am here today to monitor.

J.D. just finished his 3rd breffis. And we went for a nice walk in the windy sunshine before that.

After the +10 test last night, J.D. got up on my chest to curl up on me and go back to sleep and I smelled this HORRIBLE smell! He had passed a hairball the long way out and it was stuck to the fur under his tail, and he was attempting to curl up under my nose! ...off to the sink we went for a bath Pee Ewe!

I'm off now to do some errands and shopping, on my one day off.

Except for a minor computer issue where my monitor WILL NOT power off unless I pull it's plug out of the electrical outlet, we've had a pretty good day.
J.D. spent some time outside, today. He just finished his 1st dinner, and all else is good.

:lol: That looks like J.D. , with the leash on too , except for you'd see these big long claws from the bottom of his paws.

J.D. walked past me at the computer because it sits next to the door to the basement. I heard him go down the steps toward the litter boxes at the bottom. And then I heard him make those awful noises again. But, this time I didn't see (or hear) him playing with Ginger beforehand. I got up and turned on the basement light and J.D. was near the litter boxes. I asked him if he was alright and he turned around away from the litter boxes and looked up at me and then preceeded to come back up the steps. When he does this when I'm watching, he looks into my eyes the whole climb, and I saw him miss a step with his front paw near the bottom, tripped a little, and then came up the steps two at a time to me.. When he reached the main floor I saw him swagger once when walking, and decided to test. I wish I knew what these weird noises were all about. I used to think they were from beating up on Ginger, because every other time he's done it, he has done it right after play fighting with Ginger, and usually goes downstairs to the basement and when he gets to the bottom makes the noises and then happily comes back up when I call him as if nothing is wrong. 2 or 3 times he has made the noises while standing over his food bowls in the kitchen, but they too were after play fighting with Ginger. Strange...

Anyway, he's green, just ate his 2nd dinner, and shrimp are defrosting :-D

wow, JD...what a beautiful day for you!

do you think he's just vocalizing, Dyana, or is it something that has you worried?

I think he went up because he stole some of my milk in my glass when I wasn't looking. Stinker :lol:

I have no idea. The noises sound like he's in pain, but he doesn't act like it. Everytime he does it, he comes to look at me standing at the top of the stairs looking down at him, and then he races up the stairs to me (often taking 2 steps at a time). Maybe, he just exerts himself playing with Ginger and then when he goes downstairs right after, the act of going downstairs hurts back leg or back. I asked my vet and he didn't find anything.

I've stayed up later, 2 hours later, than normal, and we're losing an hour of sleep tonight, so I better get my buns in bed, so I can be bright eyed and bushy tailed for work tomorrow.

Great day for J.D. Hope you get your 'buns' in bed. Please post a picture of 'bright eyed and bushy tailed'. Maybe Celi can help with that. I need to go to bed too. I'm bushed.
