Yesterday's breaking bounce

Couldn't believe my eyes when Ivana climbed up onto the bed for her AMPS test this morning wearing green!!! :D:D:D Haven't seen a green PS for over a month, so exciting! I admit I was a little nervous shooting because it's been so long, but from her history we know she'll be fine. Thankfully I'm home most of the day (apart from taking hubby to work and picking him up again) so I can keep and eye on her.

Paws crossed for a lovely green surf today!
 
We had to leave at +2, and I wouldn't be back until +3.5. So instead of testing at +2 as we normally do, I tested at +1.75 so that I had time to take corrective action if needed. Gave her 2t of MC at +1.75 as she'd dropped a bit more from AMPS. Retested at +2 and there was more droppage (is that a word?). Gave her 2t HC, but she didn't eat it. I wasn't worried though as her number is not actually in the dangerous range, it was more as insurance while I was out.

Just got home at +3.5 and she's dropped a little bit more (not much). The HC is still in her bowl, I'm just going to leave it there and she can eat it on her own if she feels she's got too low. Will be monitoring her pretty closely today, paws crossed for a flat curve :-)
 
+4 and she's at 50 / 2.8. I put her bowl with 2t of HC (from earlier this morning) infront of her, and she's nibbling at it. Not wolfing it down like she normally does, but I think that's probably because she had breakfast and some MC already today (my fault for filling her up...). However, I know when she gets too low she will eat a horse, so that's ok.

Also, this doesn't count as drop #1 does it, because she' AT 50, not UNDER 50?
 
I hand-fed her about half of the HC (1t), she's not real interested in eating at the moment. If she's still dropping at +5 I'll be breaking out the honey. Reluctant to do so just yet.
 
Lagoon Meister, I'm sure you're keeping a good eye on Ivana as she paddles around. No need for her to visit the sharkies or mer folk. Sparkles swimming around with you today (and yesterday). Lots of good company. Just no scares for your bean, OK?
 
Ergh, looks like I didn't need to give her that nibble of HC at +6, as +7 is quite a bit higher. Please please please don't be a bounce starting!
 
Argh, bounce! Expected it, but was secretly hoping for another great cycle before it started. The great thing is that Ivana's greens were achieved with NO DIVING which is a darn nice change for her :D
