Yes I'd try it. Worse case it doesn't work and you go back. As for staying normal, she's done a good job so far on reduction. Think of insulin as training wheels on a bike. Gradually removing them as the beta cells get operational again.

Butters's numbers have been mostly 70s and above, and she had this 106 pop up tonight...her numbers have been rising this cycle. So I just want to make sure that doesn't change anything. I am to try to reduce by a full .25u tonight, you think? Even right after another blue (low blue, yes). Or should I wait until a fully green cycle before reducing?

I don't even know if I need an intervention...which probably means that I do.

Good luck with the reduction :bighug: IMHO, the best part of reductions is zero required waiting time to go back up to last good dose if Butters needs it (& paws you don't need to :bighug:)
 
Looks like a bit of a high before the low with the blue PS? I think there were a few times she has done that.
