Yes..I'd get the +2.... Maybe you can bribe him :-D if he's up, then you can give him a break. I'll be back for your +2.

Rupert looking really good around +2 time.. I"m going to wait and get a +3 or 4/5. If I poke him again now I won't be able to get near him later on, and that's the time that I REALLY want to get a record of because he tends to start dropping around the 4/5/6 mark. If i can't get that reading I'm really in trouble. He's usually really good about the ear pokes but having pokes every hour has made him seriously owly. I'm here alone tonight (hubby still working up island, not back till tomorrow) so don't have any back up if it turns into a wrestling match! He's looking a lot better.. he was a tad dopey/sleepy earlier and I was a bit worried, but he's bright and happy, came down to the barn with me this evening to feed the horses, ran back up the path and up the stairs on the sundeck (he refuses to come in the 'servants' entrance - cat flap door in the basement!), and has just come in off the balcony, having about a table spoon of Merrick right now. Overall appearance is way better than this morning when he was looking 'rough' (like he'd partied WAY too late on that black/red floor!), and 'brightness' at the moment is very good. If he's going to drop, it will be in a couple more hours....

Thanx again, so very much, for staying up with me! I think we are 'good' and I have all the supplies on hand if we have a seriously low moment. pip, i'm still on if you need any help.

the reason for the +2 is that it's an indicator of where things are going. with most cats there's no danger of them being too low at that point. it's just the +2 is the best crystal ball there is for the rest of the cycle. that's all.

glad rupert is looking perkier.

i'll be back at 11 to see if you've gotten another test yet. it's a good idea not to wait too long for another test if possible.
 
+4 is 228. back to yellow. I"m assuming I should expect a big fat red number tomorrow morning as he bounces from this truly weird day! thanx everyone for checking up on us!
 
agreed . . . it's just part of it. and rupert seems to have quite the flair for drama, so it might be very high. no way to know.

at least you can sleep tonight without worrying about him. ni ni!
