Yesterday
I had a trifecta of not so good luck today.
First, I was sick and throwing up (tummy issues from stress, I guess) for a couple of hours in the middle of the night. I really need my sleep, so loosing some has me sleep deprived.
Then, my laptop wouldn't turn on in the morning, so I couldn't check what current dose he is on. It was just a black screen.
Then, from about 6:00am to 7:30am, Jackson kept going into the litter box, and when I decided to try to get a ketone test and approached him with the spoon to get it, he would hop out of the box over and over and over. I made an appointment with a vet that I have never met at 4:20pm (as my regular vet is off on Wednesdays) just in case.
Even though the litter box is less than 2 feet from my leg where I work from home, I did not see or hear him get in it, but around 12:30 to 1:00pm I found two large pee clumps. I had found 2 small pee clumps (again unnoticed by me) at around 10:00am and figured they were Sabrina's although I never saw her get in the box either (I thought maybe it was him barely peeing, or Sabrina's)
So, after the big pee clumps, I was able to cancel the vet appointment for today (I never got a ketone test).
Then, when I took my laptop to the tech people at Staples, everything was fine and it turned on.
I prayed to Saint Anthony as he is the only that has really come through so quickly for me in the past, and I don't know, but thanked him.
Being an optimist, I figured I saved about 3 to 5 thousand dollars today, not needing to take Jackson to the ER and having to buy a new lap top.
Tomorrow, he will start 7 units.
I am happy to be back, and able to type on my laptop again.
