Gremlin isn't well today. I have a loaf that refuses food and doesn't even want to go outside. I have to work today but don't want to leave him!
He didn't eat overnight but vomited plenty (empty belly type vomit) and had diarrhea too.
It's not the first time he's been like this but it worries me everytime. Although I can't remember the last episode like this he had where he also didn't want to go outside.

Home at lunch time.
He still doesn't look great. I found more frothy vomit but he did want to go outside. I reluctantly let him out only because it's the most normal he's been all day. He's still refusing to eat. We might be off to the vet tonight or tomorrow morning if there's no improvement. On the plus side, his BGL hasn't jumped up! Yet...
Stressed!!

I found the culprit and got a little bit of food into Grem! I might have three slightly ill cats tonight... Hopefully not! The culprit was a bad tin of Fancy Feast. Which is now gone!

Grem's not good.
He just vomited what small amount he'd eaten, in pureed form. Then went to the loo and it stinks!! When I went to clean it, it's full of blood. His belly is rumbling and he's absolutely miserable. And he got poop on my bed sheets :( My bed stinks but he won't move. I don't want to move him either. I might try to sleep on the couch...

I don't know how I can get him to the vet tomorrow as I'm currently in a hire car after someone turned illegally in front of me recently and it's absolutely not allowed to have pets in the hire car.

I'm so sorry. I hope once the bad food gets out of his system, he'll feel better and you won't need to take him to the vet. Sending prayers.

Laura, I'm sure the blood in his poo is very worrisome for you. Could you not use the car anyway to get him to the vet and just make sure there's no cat hair and smell afterwards? I wish you much luck with little Gremlin.

He's had blood in his stool before. I was told that he has an irritable colon. I personally think it's IBS but Grem won't be having anymore surgeries so we'll never know.

Anyway, he's eaten a bit this morning and is much perkier. Judging by all the food left from last night (and there was also Grem's bowl not pictured) it was definitely a bad tin. Food NEVER gets left in this house! Unfortunately that's put them all off that food for a little while but at least it's not serious and he'll be better soon. No vet needed, yay!
