Last Night:
562 PMPS
250 +6.5
228 +9
With those numbers last night, I was hoping he was coming down nice and slowly and today's AMPS would be better.
This morning, at AMPS, he drank some water, ate a few bites of food, peed and pooed, and went back to bed, followed by Ginger.
In looking outside, it is not currently snowing. There is a thin layer of white on the walkways. I hope it isn't ice, but I'm wearing my cleats to the vet just the same.
I guess I should ask the vet about a possible kidney infection as he continues to pee on the carpet especially first thing when getting up in the morning, and maybe get a vitamin B test if there is one. The last time I talked to the vet she mentioned Anabolic steroids again, and said they wouldn't be a good thing for a diabetic. I asked her about giving him fluids before this test to see if that would affect the HCT value and she said he was not dehydrated and that I should not give him extra fluids because they could over load his kidneys or something like that.
Wish us well. I am hoping his values are better today.
