sigh. Pink morning.
Happy cat, was outside when I came downstairs and positively hurtled in thru the front door and demanded breakfast. Ate half a tin of surf n turf (Merrick). Seems healthy and happy. Stuck with the f1.5 dose for today, hoping the bounce clears quickly and we see some blue at some point.

He'll be down, he did yesterday, and one of these days soon, you'll start seeing pretty yellow preshots....and have him bring Checks along with him, okay? :-D

off to work now, hope everyone has a great day. Sun is shining here (how unusual!) but it's a bit chilly. I might have a case of 'toxic spasm' (long story, will share sometime) this afternoon and stay home! would be nice day to take Squeak thru the park for a trail ride! at least before the forecast monsoons hit for the rest of the week. sigh!

it would seem that Checkers and Rupert are in total cohoots yet again!!!!

good grief!

so.. can experienced eyes tell me what this is a sign of? that the dose is correct and his body is just taking time to realize it's okay? I'm hoping this is sort of a good sign? hopeful he won't bounce yet again tomorrrow?

am feeding him half a can of surf and turf right now. Rupert seems happy, was asleep in his usual spot on the couch, none to impressed to see me.
I notice that when his numbers get into the low 100's he starts to get a tad sleepier. then again, it might be the drop from high to low that makes him feel odd.

I'm just off to the barn to give the horses their lunch, Rupert will probably come with me for his lunchtime pee and a walk, will be interesting to see how he feels when he's up and about.

I wonder if we shouldn't combine Rupert and Checkers condos each day! would save a lot of typing! tee hee.

Looks to me like Rupert cleared yesterdays bounce pretty quick.

Eventually Ruperts body will become used to hanging out in lower numbers and the bounces will become shorter and hopefully one day they will stop.

that 85 is mighty pretty!

when i see that i think if Rupert can get to 85 on this dose today, he can tomorrow too. so that means more patience til he settles down - maybe he won't bounce from it today if we're lucky!

too funny on the pink shower curtain!!! made me laugh out loud - cuz we know SOME kitters would do that, just for fun! :lol:

PMPS in the BLUE!!!!!!!!!!! whee... I feel we are getting somewhere. <antijinx>

will continue with the f1.5 shot as per usual. will monitor closely tonight given how quickly he slid from the pink to the green this morning. nice to see several hours in the greens/blues there finally. fingers crossed NO b word happens.

Bounces are annoying. However, they do tell you that your cat's liver is working well!

yes, I AM dancing, although I'm wondering if it's going to be a long night! I sucked it up and gave him his regular f1.5 dose... hoping he doesn't dip dangerously tonight! he's on the couch with us right now, had a good clean, very friendly. Am going to make sure he eats every hour! hopefully I'll get some sleep tonight! fingers crossed! Now.. just tell Checkers where Rupie is or he'll be wondering where his bouncebuddy is tomorrow!

+1 and he's at 176.. yay.. no massive dive! will check again at +3... looks like I"ll get some sleep and Rupie seems happy this evening!

+3 and still surfing........ :-D He was REALLY REALLY cat(2)_steam when I tried to test him. he was super sleepy on the couch and of course I keeped prodding him to make sure he was okay, over the past few hours. He had a good clean and was sleeping/snoring away when I wanted to test him again. I was worried because he seemed so sleepy, course soon as he heard me get the 'equipment' out.... he woke up, growled and put up a fight! fed him some snappy tom whilst I was attempting to get him, but by this time of day I often have a hard time getting his ear to bleed. Poor fella, getting scabs on his ears now. Anyway, I finally cornered him on the dining room chair, with more bribes, and he just sat and growled a low deep growl whilst I got my test. Feel bad for the guy, but still we get the job done. He's really very very good considering! I'm not sure if I"ll be able to get a test again in two hours.. as far as WCR goes he's looking GREAT.

+4 and we have a 275......I'm getting the hang of this! instead of freaking, I'm now saying: aha! here comes the bounce! hopefully he'll continue to clear them as rapidly as he has before. interestingly, I think his nadir is just about bang on +6 so perhaps it will start to come down a bit overnight. AMPS tomorrow will be most interesting.

upside is I can go to bed now and not worry too much! nighty night everyone. Hope all is well with everyone else. see you in the morning.

Do you live somewhere in the future like me or did you have an oops with your date today???

Glad you're getting a chance to get a good sleep, sounds like Rupert will be glad the pokie's gone away too!
