Susanne - I remember you posting about a blood/ketone meter - we had held off but I want to get one now...which one did you get? Does it require more/less blood than ReliOn Prime?

It did! TBH I was more worried he wouldn't let them check him :p But the doctor said she got a good look and it all put my anxiety at ease a bit :)

I got the Nova Max Plus - https://www.adwdiabetes.com/product/20784/free-nova-max-glucose-ketone-meter - this deal from adwdiabetes is the meter plus 20 ketone strips (ketone strips are pricey!). Technically this particular meter can be used for glucose (with separate strips) but I'm just using it for ketones (once a week check over here). It takes less blood than the prime - it says 0.3ml sample size and the prime is 0.5ml - it was seriously so easy when I did it (perhaps because I now have a ton of BG testing experience :p). And I picked this particular meter as it was one mentioned on FDMB and in the Ketones Info Post. Hope that helps :bighug::bighug::bighug:
