I gave him too much R. I thought about a "breath" of R (holding the plunger all the way up tight while inserting the syringe into the vial and then just releasing the pressure on the plunger), but no, I gave him one and a half drops (less than the zero line) and he plunged down. At +3 I gave him some MC and wet to bed. So the HI this morning is all my doing.
His test of HI this morning was actually at +11.25, but it was such a gusher of blood, that I didn't want to test again, and use more of his precious blood (he is going for another blood work just two weeks after the last one, to test for anemia) on Monday, and I am concerned about them taking more of his blood only two weeks after taking the first sample. So, I gave him his insulin at +11.75.
J.D. didn't want to get out of bed. I told him on Saturday we can sleep in
He ate his 1st Breffis and looked around for more.
I do get Monday off, as I told my boss I have 4 appointments that day, and they will get through some how.
I think I need to take some pain medicine today as I worked so hard yesterday, my arm feels a little swollen this morning. Every day, I think, I get a little more range of movement, and maybe can lift a little tiny bit more weight with it.
I hope everyone has a good day.
